Questions about Euthyna, answered plainly.

The quick answers come first and are open on the page. The harder questions, the ones lenders, auditors, counsel and security teams ask, are further down, one tap each.

The first things people ask.

  • What is Euthyna?

Software that decides whether each staged release of project money is eligible to proceed. It checks the release against the approved plan, the proof submitted and verified, the required approvals and any open problems, and writes each decision and its reasons to an append-only record.

  • Does Euthyna hold, move or pay out money?

    No

Euthyna decides and records whether a release is eligible, and records who authorized it. Your bank, trustee, escrow agent or payment system moves the money. Euthyna is not a bank, escrow account, custodian or payment service, and it is not connected to any bank or payment system.

  • What do tranche, milestone and drawdown mean?

They are ways large investments pay out in stages. A tranche is one portion of the committed money. A milestone is a point the work must reach, such as a ship's keel being laid. A drawdown is an amount taken from a loan once a condition is met. On this page each of them is a release: money that goes out only when its conditions are met.

  • What do “eligible”, “not eligible” and “on hold” mean?

Eligible means every condition for the release is met, so it may be authorized. Not eligible means at least one condition is unmet, such as missing proof or a missing approval, and the decision records which. On hold means a blocking problem raised against the stage, or against a stage it depends on, is open; the release cannot be checked again until the problem is resolved.

  • Who is it for?

Anyone who funds, runs or checks staged investment: investors and lenders, project owners and operators, independent verifiers, auditors and asset owners. Each person is placed on a project with a role, and everyone on the project can see why a release was or was not eligible.

  • What kinds of projects does it work for?

Any investment paid out in stages against agreed conditions: shipbuilding, offshore energy, power and renewables, factory modernization, infrastructure and construction, project and private finance, and equipment or facility expansion.

  • Is Euthyna a blockchain or tokenization product?

    No

Euthyna does not issue tokens or digital shares. If a project uses a tokenized structure, Euthyna checks its releases like any other project's.

  • Does AI decide whether money can move?

    No

Decisions never use AI output. Each one applies the same conditions to the recorded facts and states its reasons, and people give every verification and approval. Euthyna's optional Summary feature, where enabled, uses a third-party AI model to describe information already recorded, when a person asks for it; its output is informational only and never enters a decision. AI cannot submit proof, resolve a hold or record a payment.

  • How much does it cost?

    Depends

There is no public price list. Price depends on how much Euthyna governs for you (projects, releases under governance, proof stored and how long it is kept) and on any enterprise requirements. It never depends on how many people log in.

  • Can we try it before we pay?

    Yes

Discovery has no fee and no order form: a working meeting, a walkthrough of how Euthyna would handle your payment schedule, and a practice copy with a sample project you can try yourself. Nothing in the practice copy is saved, and it resets after 30 minutes. Discovery usually ends with a written pilot proposal. If you request access, you accept the Euthyna Terms, which cover Discovery, including confidentiality.

  • How many people can use it?

As many as you need. Users are not counted or charged for. Each login belongs to one named person, invited by your workspace administrator, and accounts cannot be shared.

  • Do we have to install anything? Is there a mobile app?

    No

Euthyna runs in a web browser on desktops, phones and tablets. There is nothing to install, and there is no Euthyna mobile app.

  • Can we see it working?

    Yes

Demos of the product are on the SK Fintech YouTube channel, linked from the Euthyna page. In Discovery you can try a practice copy yourself.

  • How do we get started?

Request access, or send us a short sketch of your project. A person reviews every access request, usually within a business day, and both routes start with Discovery.

  • Who is behind Euthyna?

SK Fintech LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. Euthyna is its flagship product.

  • What does the name mean?

It comes from the Greek euthyna, the review every Athenian official faced at the end of office, including an account of the public money they handled. Euthyna applies the same idea to capital.

How a decision is made

What Euthyna checks, who can act, and what can and cannot change a result.

What does Euthyna check before a release is eligible?

Every plan created in Euthyna applies the same conditions to every stage: the stages it depends on are complete, an independent verifier has passed its inspection proof, invoices are accepted where the plan requires them, at least two different approvers have signed, the amount together with what has already been released is within the plan's total, and no blocking problem is open.

Your approved plan sets the stages, their amounts, their dependencies and whether invoices apply. Nobody can add or remove a condition, and Euthyna makes no credit or investment judgment.

Does Euthyna judge whether the work was actually done well? No

An inspector, engineer or surveyor holding the independent verifier role judges the work, and a stage cannot become eligible until that person has passed its inspection proof. Euthyna checks that stored proof is intact and that the submitter is entitled to claim its source, not that its contents are true.

Can someone override a hold or skip a condition? No

No role, plan or setting turns a check off, and there is no override. A held release becomes eligible only after the blocking problem is resolved and the release is checked again with every condition met. Only a verifier or an approver who is not the person responsible for fixing the problem can resolve it, and the record shows who did.

What happens when the plan changes halfway through?

A change order, approved by a plan approver who did not write it, creates a new version of the plan. A stage the change alters, and that already has work recorded, pauses until a plan approver re-baselines it; its proof must then be verified again and its approvals given again. Stages already paid out cannot be changed. Earlier decisions stay on record against the plan version they were made under.

Can the same person submit the proof and approve it? No

Separation of duties is always on. The person who submits proof cannot verify it, nobody who submitted or verified a stage's proof can approve its release, and each approval must come from a different person. Euthyna refuses any action that breaks this and says why.

Can a release need approval from several parties, like both the owner and the lender? Depends

Every release needs sign-off from at least two different people with the approver role, and a sign-off request can require more. Euthyna counts approvers; it cannot require that one of them belongs to a particular organization, such as the lender, or add approvers above an amount. If the lender's representative holds an approver role, their signature counts like any other.

Would two people checking the same release get the same answer? Yes

A decision is worked out from the recorded facts and the plan's conditions the same way every time, and it can be reproduced later from the record. Each decision lists the inputs that produced it.

Where Euthyna stops

The lines Euthyna does not cross, and who stays responsible for what.

If a release is eligible, is the payment guaranteed? No

Eligible means the conditions are met, so the release may be authorized. Whoever controls the money, such as your bank, trustee, escrow agent or finance team, decides whether to pay and makes the payment. Euthyna records what happened; it does not cause it.

Who authorizes a release, and what does the authorization do?

A member with the project lead role authorizes a release once it is eligible, and Euthyna records the authorization with the decision it rests on. The authorization lapses after 30 days if no payment is recorded against it, and it is withdrawn automatically if a blocking problem is raised. It is a record for the people who control the money, not a payment instruction: Euthyna sends nothing to a bank.

Is Euthyna licensed or regulated as a financial service?

SK Fintech holds no licence, registration or regulatory approval for Euthyna, and none should be inferred. Euthyna does not hold, move or settle money. Whether your own activity needs a licence or approval is for you and your counsel to determine.

Does it replace our lawyers, auditors or loan agent? No

A decision is not legal, financial, tax, engineering or accounting advice. Lawyers still write the agreements, auditors still form their opinion, and the loan agent still administers the loan. Euthyna gives them a checked, recorded history of every release to work from.

Can it tell whether the payment that went out matches what was authorized? Yes

Once a member records the payment your bank reports, Euthyna compares it with the authorization. A payment with no authorization behind it, a duplicate, a payment after the authorization lapsed, or a wrong amount is flagged as a blocking problem that must be resolved, and where it relates to an authorized release, that release and the stages depending on it are held. There is no automatic bank feed: payments are recorded by hand.

Does a bigger plan or an enterprise agreement relax the checks? No

A bigger plan raises capacity, and an enterprise agreement changes how the service is provided and what SK Fintech commits to. Every release on every plan is checked the same way and recorded.

The record

What gets kept, who can see it, and what you can download.

What does an append-only record mean, and why does it matter?

Entries are added, never edited or removed, and the record is tamper-evident: any alteration can be detected. When someone asks why a release was eligible in March, the record shows what was known and decided in March. An editable record could not prove that.

Then how do we correct a mistake?

By adding to the record: new proof, a new eligibility check, or an approved change order that states what changed. Each addition records who made it, and the earlier entries stay visible.

Can investors or auditors have a view-only login? No

There is no view-only role. An investor or auditor can have a project role that shows every decision, its reasons and the proof behind it. They cannot verify proof, approve a release, resolve a hold or authorize a release, and nobody can edit a recorded entry. Like every project member, they can add entries: submit proof, request sign-off, raise problems and record payments.

What can we download from Euthyna?

Decisions, approvals, plans and the audit trail can be read in Euthyna but cannot be downloaded, and there is no bulk export. During your subscription, and during the transition period after it ends:

  • your workspace administrator can download your account record (plan, terms, capacity, charges, offers, changes, invoices and payments) as one data file, from the workspace settings;
  • your workspace administrator can download the order documents attached to the offers and changes made to your workspace, one at a time;
  • anyone who can open a project can open and save its proof files, one at a time.

Security and your data

Separation, location, sign-in and the reviews your security team will want.

Is our data kept apart from other customers? Yes

Your organization's workspace is logically isolated from every other customer's, and each project inside it keeps its own record. SK Fintech's own operators can open your workspace to provide and support the service, under the confidentiality terms.

Where is our data stored?

In Euthyna's hosted service, which SK Fintech operates using third-party hosting, storage, identity and email providers; SK Fintech provides a current list on request. Data is hosted in the region your order form names, or otherwise in a region SK Fintech selects, which may be outside your country. Data residency in a chosen country, or a dedicated environment, applies only if an Enterprise order form states it.

Can our staff sign in with our company login? Depends

Euthyna has no single sign-on today; it can be agreed as an Enterprise requirement in an order form. Each person signs in with a one-time code sent to their email address. There are no passwords.

Will you complete our security review and questionnaire? Depends

A security review is part of an Enterprise order form that includes one. On other plans, tell us what your security team needs to know; the safeguards SK Fintech maintains are described in Section 13 of the Terms.

Which security certifications do you hold?

SK Fintech claims no security certification or attestation for Euthyna, and none applies unless your order form states it. If your procurement requires one, raise it in Discovery.

Does Euthyna have a version number?

Euthyna has no customer-facing version number. The foot of the Euthyna application shows a release reference that identifies the release you are using. The Euthyna Terms are versioned: each version carries a number and an effective date, every published version is preserved, and the version you accepted stays on record.

Buying, rollout and fit

How Euthyna is bought, how setup and support work, and when it is not the right tool.

How is Euthyna bought, invoiced and renewed?

In stages. Discovery has no fee. A paid pilot tests Euthyna on one real project for a fixed fee. Production is a yearly subscription for your own workspace. Scale is Production at a larger agreed capacity. Enterprise is a negotiated agreement for requirements such as single sign-on, a dedicated environment, data residency, longer retention, a security review or defined service levels. Professional services, such as integrations or migration, are quoted separately.

You get a written proposal, and the fees in the order form both parties sign are the fees you pay. Unless your order form says otherwise, a pilot is invoiced once at the start and a Production or Scale subscription yearly in advance, in US dollars, payable within 30 days. Fees are fixed for the term. Nothing renews automatically: SK Fintech proposes renewal terms before the term ends, and you decide. There is no automatic price increase.

How long does it take to set up our first Euthyna workspace after we sign? Depends

It depends on your project, how many parties take part, and how quickly both sides decide. Your order form states the term, and a pilot proposal states its fixed length. The steps are always the same:

  1. Contract. Both parties sign the order form. Your workspace is created only after that.
  2. Provisioning. SK Fintech creates your workspace and invites your administrator.
  3. Your team. Your administrator invites colleagues and outside parties, such as the independent engineer and the lender's representative.
  4. Your projects. You set up each project, choose its currency, and assign roles.
  5. Your plan. You set each project's stages, amounts and dependencies, with SK Fintech's help. This setup is included in your pilot or subscription.
  6. Training and validation. Your people learn the workflow with SK Fintech and a written guide, and you confirm the plan behaves as agreed. Formal training is quoted separately. A security review, where an Enterprise order form includes one, happens here, before go-live.
  7. Production. Real releases go through Euthyna, each decision recorded with its reasons.
Do we have to change our systems, or can Euthyna connect to them?

Your systems stay as they are. Your people keep inspecting, certifying and approving; they record the proof and the approvals in Euthyna, starting with documents uploaded by hand.

Integrations with your existing systems, and migration of existing records, are professional services, each scoped and priced in its own statement of work before work starts. Euthyna runs without them.

Which currencies can a project use, and can the currency be changed?

Each project uses one currency, chosen at setup: US dollar, euro, British pound or UAE dirham. It cannot be changed afterwards. Projects in one workspace can use different currencies, and Euthyna never converts between them. Totals across projects are part of Scale and Enterprise, and appear only when every project uses the same currency.

How is support handled across regions and time zones?

Your people can submit proof and approve releases from any time zone; nothing waits for SK Fintech's office hours.

During Discovery and a pilot you work directly with the SK Fintech team, and the letter assigning your onboarding lead gives their email address. Production and Scale include standard support and product updates. Response times and availability are guaranteed only where an Enterprise order form sets them. SK Fintech uses reasonable efforts to schedule planned downtime outside your main business hours and to announce it in advance. Your team answers first-line questions from its own users and names a technical contact for SK Fintech.

How are VAT, Virginia sales and use tax, and other taxes handled?

Fees exclude tax. You pay any sales, use, value-added, goods-and-services, withholding or similar taxes on your order, other than tax on SK Fintech's net income. If you must withhold tax, you increase the payment so SK Fintech receives the full invoiced amount. Euthyna does not calculate tax. Your workspace administrator can record your tax or VAT ID in the workspace profile. Whether a particular tax applies to you is a question for your tax adviser.

What happens if we outgrow what we signed up for?

Euthyna refuses only the one action that would exceed your agreed capacity, such as adding a project or uploading more proof, and shows what your subscription includes, what you are using and what to request. Nothing already recorded is affected, and reading and downloading continue. You add capacity by amending your subscription: on Production, by moving to Scale; on Scale and Enterprise, by an agreed amendment. Your renewal date does not change. A pilot's capacity is fixed.

Is the pilot just a cheaper subscription? No

A pilot is fixed work on one real project, with a fixed fee and a fixed end date: 90 days unless your order form says otherwise. It does not renew. If you sign an order form for a subscription, it runs on the same workspace and your records carry over. If you do not, the pilot ends without penalty.

When is Euthyna not a good fit?

When money goes out once, carries no conditions, or only one person needs to know why. Euthyna fits projects with several releases, several parties, and real consequences if a release goes out early. Discovery is where fit is assessed.

Can we see customers or case studies?

This site names no customers and publishes no case studies, and every example on it is illustrative. Discovery and a paid pilot let you assess Euthyna on your own project.

Under Section 12.9 of the Terms, a customer consents to SK Fintech naming it, and the nature of the engagement, as a reference and in its credentials and marketing materials. Nothing else about its work is disclosed: its plans, project data, counterparties, financing, proof and order form terms stay confidential.

Tenant offboarding

How the service ends, suspension, refunds, taking your records, and what happens to them afterwards.

How can the service end?

A pilot ends on its end date and a subscription at the end of its term. Nothing renews automatically: continuing needs a renewal or a new order form signed by both parties. Before a workspace is provisioned you can withdraw your application at any time; once it is live, the end of the service is recorded by SK Fintech, and there is no cancel button in the product.

Section 22 of the Terms allows earlier termination:

  • by either party for convenience, only where your order form allows it;
  • by SK Fintech for convenience, on 90 days' written notice;
  • by either party for cause, if the other materially breaches the Terms or an order form and does not cure the breach within 30 days of written notice (10 days for non-payment), becomes insolvent, makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors, or ceases business;
  • by SK Fintech immediately on notice, for a breach of the Terms' prohibited-use, restriction or proprietary-knowledge provisions that cannot be cured.
Can SK Fintech suspend our access? Depends

Only where reasonably necessary, in whole or in part, on these grounds: a security incident or credible threat to the service, other customers or the record; a material breach of the Terms' prohibited-use, restriction or proprietary-knowledge provisions; undisputed fees unpaid 15 days after written notice of non-payment; or a legal or regulatory requirement.

SK Fintech gives notice beforehand where practicable and otherwise promptly afterwards, limits the suspension to what is necessary, and restores access once the cause is cured. While the workspace is suspended, your people cannot open it. A suspension is recorded and deletes nothing, and fees continue during it unless SK Fintech's own breach caused it.

Are fees refunded if the service ends early? Depends

Not when you end the service early, and not when SK Fintech ends it for cause. Fees you have paid, including subscription and pilot fees, are non-refundable if you end the service before its term ends, or if SK Fintech ends it under Section 22.3 of the Terms: a material breach you do not cure within 30 days of written notice (10 days for non-payment), insolvency, or a breach of the prohibited-use, restriction or proprietary-knowledge provisions that cannot be cured. That applies unless your order form says otherwise or the law requires a refund.

The Terms refund prepaid fees for the unused part of the term, pro rata, in four cases:

  • SK Fintech ends your order form for convenience, or discontinues the service or a feature you bought;
  • the service does not perform materially as documented, SK Fintech cannot correct it within a reasonable period, and you end the affected order form;
  • SK Fintech ends your order form because of an intellectual-property claim against the service;
  • a force majeure event prevents SK Fintech from performing for more than 60 consecutive days, and you end the affected order form.
What do we still owe when the service ends?

Fees accrued before the end date, however the service ended and whether or not a refund applies. Fees are non-cancellable, so an invoice already issued for your term stays payable if you choose to stop before the term ends. Overdue undisputed amounts carry interest at 1% a month or the highest rate the law allows, whichever is lower. A disputed invoice must be raised in writing within 30 days of its date, with the undisputed part paid when due. Your downloads at the end are not withheld once undisputed fees are paid.

What happens on the end date?

Projects run normally until the end date. When SK Fintech records a cancellation, the commercial and billing contacts on your account receive an email stating the effective date and the end of the transition period.

From the end date your right to use Euthyna ends. Once SK Fintech records the end, no new work can be governed: no release can be checked or authorized, and no new project, plan, change order, proof, verification or approval can be added. Every user, administrators included, can still open the workspace to read and download records until the transition period closes.

After the transition period, SK Fintech may close the workspace. Once it is closed, nobody in your organization can open it.

How long do we have to download our records, and what does it cost?

Until the transition period in your order form closes, or for 30 days after the end date if your order form sets none. The downloads are the ones listed under “What can we download from Euthyna?”, made by the same people. There is no exit fee and no download charge. Once undisputed fees are paid, SK Fintech withholds nothing you are entitled to download, and you may keep and use your copies afterwards.

How long are records kept, and when are they deleted?

For the retention period in your order form. If none is set, SK Fintech keeps your materials for the subscription term plus the transition period, and may delete them afterwards, subject to its legal obligations. Euthyna itself deletes nothing automatically.

SK Fintech may keep copies required by law or by its document-retention policy, and the audit records needed to preserve their integrity and meet its legal obligations. Anything kept remains confidential under the Terms. The record is never altered or deleted at a customer's request; a correction is a new entry.

Can offboarding be reversed, or can we return later? Depends

Until the workspace is closed, a new order form can put a new subscription on the same workspace, so your records and work continue. A closed workspace cannot be reopened. A returning organization applies again and starts with a new workspace.
